Q. If I post my resume online can people see my name and contact details?

No. Only your skills and experience are displayed online. Your personal details are not displayed. Companies and recruiters can only contact you by requesting your contact details through Adage. You can accept or decline any request - so you are always in control of your job search.

Do I know how many people are looking at my resume?

Yes. You can log into your Adage account anytime and see how many times your profile has been viewed. All requests, including company details, are stored in your online account and you can view at anytime.

Can I track and manage my adage job search online?

Yes. You can log in and view your job application history. You can also create your own notes about your job applications in your secure account.

Q. How can Adage specifically target mature job seekers ages 40+?

A.

 

 

Adage has an exemption under Section 126 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977, to allow the advertisement of positions targeting mature age job seekers over 40 years of age and to screen registrations and applications for Adage on the basis of age.

Adage draws from a wealth of research and organisational data which suggests that this group of job seekers has experienced discrimination in the past. Adage is a positive step in targetting this group of job seekers and providing an opportunity to connect with organisations which may not have been possible in the past.

A. To contact candidates from the resume database you simply need to click on 'search resumes' from the employer home page, complete the required criteria and a list of filtered candidates along with theirprofiles will be displayed. You can then select those you wish toconnect with.

Selecting the 'featured job' option when you post a job on Adage.com.au is a very effective way to highlight your opportunity to our Adage members. It will appear on the home page and in the top section of job search results when a job seeker searches for an opportunity with the same criteria. 

Q. Are my job applicant details stored online if I need them?

Yes. the details of all people who apply for your jobs are emailed to you, and they are stored online in your secure online employer account.

 

Q. Can I store notes about my Job Applicants online?

A.

 

Yes you can. You can search for applicants, view applicants by job, create notes against applicants, update your applicant status, send auto acknowledgement emails to applicants and more.

 

Q. Can I screen my job applicants as they apply?

A.

 

 

Yes, Adage.com.au allows you to create mandatory yes/no screening questions on each of your job ads to be answered by the applicant when they apply for your role.  For example, "Are you CPA qualified?".

Yes, your screening questions and the applicant's answers are emailed to you and stored online in your account.  Applications for your jobs are scored (eg 5/5) and sorted in order of best scores first.

A. Yes, there is a searchable company directory. Employers who post jobs on Adage.com.au can list their business in this directory.
