Responsibilities: Prepare and manage Group Safety budgets including the development and preparation of financial information for senior management. Manage Group Safety administration including coordination of corporate IT initiatives and work tasks of Business Support Coordinator

· Managed Group Safety finances including operating and capital budgets of $6m resulting in area targets maintained within budget
· Led the production of annual Group Safety operating and capital budgets in consultation with management and within set timeframes and company policies
· Prepared monthly financial, IT costs and leave reports for Group Safety management to better manage costs and to ensure set targets were achieved
· Led the coordination of change projects such as, office relocation, software rationalisation program, server migration, network and email quota implementation, XP upgrade project, desktop refresh program and first point of contact for IT issues

· Managed department assets including inventory, procurement, serviceability, transfer and disposal of obsolete equipment resulting in improved business efficiencies and cost savings

· Developed processes for key office procedures, such as documentation of outwards correspondence, induction checklist for new staff, procurement of equipment, conference room bookings, archiving of documentation and processing of accounts as part of the Quality Management System
· Managed work tasks of Business Support Coordinator to meet key performance indicators
· Oversaw Group Safety intranet site to provide effective communications of operational information
· Performed safety observations, workplace inspections and maintained currency of OH&S training requirements ensuring compliance with all safe working procedures and policy requirements.
